Flame Health Optical Sales are currently recruiting for a Brand Manager in Scotland to join our client, who are one of the leading optical frame companies in the world who have been making eye wear products for over 75 years.
The company are strongly oriented towards product development and design through its team of designers, who ensure the continual stylistic and technical innovation that has always been a distinguishing feature of the Group. They have a unique portfolio of in-house and licensed brands.
As the Brand Manager, you will be reporting to the Regional Manager and be responsible for building relationships with customers and to represent the company at all times. This Brand Manager will have the primarily responsibility of seeking and acquiring new accounts and achieve our clients market penetration in the assigned territory.
Once a new customer is acquired your role will be to maintain, develop and grow the customer. As the Brand Manager, you will proactively promote collections and promotions to current and prospective customers, whilst also promoting the overall interest of our client and the Brand Portfolio.
The chosen candidate will strive to establish, develop and maintain business relationships with current and prospective customers in the assigned territory to generate new business for the organization’s products. They will make telephone calls and in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers.
Some of the role will be dedicated to research, and to develop clear and effective written proposals for current and prospective customers. There will also be time to analyse the territory/market’s potential and determine the value of existing and prospective customer’s value to the organisation.
The successful indidual will keeps well-informed of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends through store visits and the reading of pertinent literature. They will also participates in trade shows and conventions.
Our client are looking for an individual with a proven track record of delivering exceptional sales performance and someone who possesses a high level of business acumen. They will be skilled in developing close working and personal relationships with customers and have sophisticated skills in negotiating and influencing.
It is vital to have a clean driving license and be fully PC literate in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
