Flame Health are currently working with a long-standing, high-end Independent Practice located in Reigate in Surrey to recruit a full-time Optical Advisor.

Our client have been established within the area for 35 years and have an excellent reputation. They have 12 members of staff in total including 4 Optometrists, 3 Dispensing Optician's and several support staff.

Working hours are Monday to Friday 9am-5:30pm with some Saturday working.

For this role we are ideally looking for a candidate with an extensive background in working within the optical industry and able to work at a senior level. Ideally, some experience in working with contact lenses would be preferred however this can be trained.

• Minimum of 3 years experience in the optical industry.
• Willing to work occasional Saturdays or evenings if required.
• An ability to work at speed under pressure, be adaptable and willing to assist or cover for other members of staff.
• Answer telephone queries, book appointments and reply to emails.
• Strong computer skills, especially word processing, spreadsheets and email.
• Ability to pre-screen both adults and children an advantage.
