Flame health are currently working with a high-end independent practice who seek an experienced dispensing optician with a wide range of optical knowledge to join them as an office based Dispensing Optician.
The perfect candidate will have extensive knowledge of optical lenses, luxury eyewear and ophthalmic technology as well as up-to-date knowledge of fashion and frame styling. You will also enjoy writing creative copy and have an interest in engaging existing and new customers through online channels.
Responsibilities include:
Online Content
• Writing engaging website copy
• Writing professional and engaging social media posts
• Writing engaging blog posts and articles
Contact Lens Ecommerce platform
• Fulfilling contact lens orders – including checking prescriptions are valid, as well as ordering, and checking orders
• Managing contact lens subscription orders – ensuring timely dispatch of subscription orders
In-Practice Dispensing
• The role will include times when you will be required to visit practices and dispense, as well as collate information for online content
Required Experience
All candidates must be a qualified, registered Dispensing Optician or CLO, and have a keen interest in copywriting.
Previous experience in writing articles or blogs, contribution to articles or previous experience in marketing or journalism would be preferred.
The role will be predominantly based in Binfield, however, travel to practices will also be required. A car will be essential for travel to the office as there is no public transport.
