A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and progressive HR Manager, working Monday to Friday. Our client are an independently owned Opticians with almost 200 years experience in providing the highest standards of clinical eye care to our patients.
This role requires Reporting to the Director, the HR Manager will provide a highly organised comprehensive, customer-focused and approachable HR service to the business.
The HR Manager will be the first point of contact for all Managers and staff members, to provide them with support, advice, or assistance in a fast past dynamic environment dealing with topics such as, Absence Management, Performance Management, The Employee Lifecycle, Recruitment and Selection, Champion Health and Wellbeing Initiatives, Payroll Processing, Auto-enrolment, assist with Employee Relations issues, Maternity / Paternity, Flexible Working alongside a variety of other tasks which the role requires.
Previous experience in a similar HR role whilst being approachable and people orientated is essential. You should be able to demonstrate that you have outstanding organisational skills, keep up to date with changes to employment law and legislation, have a keen eye for detail, work well to tight deadlines in a fast paced role, and have experience using of Microsoft packages. It is preferred that the ideal candidate will be CIPD qualified.
