Flame Health are looking for a salaried GP to work 6-8 sessions with a view to partnership at a very popular surgery in the Reading area . 

If you are looking to work within a fully supported team of healthcare professionals, this Berkshire role is for you. 

Not one day is the same so variety is in abundance here and you will of course have the opportunity to support and care for a diverse patient group. You will also be part of the next step as this Practice is planning to become a training practice in the near future.

The main responsibilities of your role as a general practitioner will include: 

• Surgery consultations, telephone consultations and queries
• Collecting data for audit purposes and complying with QOF requirements
• checking and signing repeat prescriptions and dealing with queries, paperwork, reports and correspondence in a timely fashion and compiling and issuing computer-generated acute and repeat prescriptions
• Making professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting medical problems, whether self-referred or referred from other healthcare workers within the organisation
• Providing health education
• Assessing the healthcare needs of your patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems
• Screening your patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness
• Developing care plans with patients and in line with current practice disease management protocols
• Recording clear consultation notes to a high standard
• Delivering enhanced services
• All general duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care

Salary is £9000-£9500 per session but can be flexible for the right GP, you will be rewarded also with a generous annual leave package, supported with continued professional development and flexibility with your work pattern and hours
