Flame Health Associates, have just been instructed on a new 
opportunity with a fantastic independent that are looking for an experienced Dispensing Optician or Contact Lens Optician based in Worcestershire and the West Midlands.

You will need to be an experienced Dispensing Optician or Contact Lens Optician to be considered for this role:

  • Knowledge of Optix/ Optisoft Practice management software would be advantageous
  • Rodenstock online lens ordering
  • Checking spectacles when received from suppliers
  • Assembly of spectacles from remote lens edge ordering, including rimless
  • Using DNEye scanner - training will be given 
  • Taking lens measurements with Impressionist ILT4
  • Visual Field testing with Humphrey HFA
  • Spectacle repairs and adjustments
  • Ordering frames from suppliers online
  • Doing contact lens insertion and removal
Full training can be provided on all of the equipment, however an experienced, competent DO/CLO should be comfortable with the required criteria 

You’ll be friendly, organised and ready to take on this hands-on role using your previous knowledge and experience.
