Optical Sales Account Manager - West Yorkshire
Flame Health Optical Sales are seeking an Optical Sales Account Manager in West Yorkshire, for our client which is one of the world’s leading lens manufacturers, who employ around 400 people in the UK and has some of the world’s most up-to-date lens surfacing and coating equipment. Globally, the company operates in around 100 countries.
You will consolidate existing sales and increase profitable sales of independent opticians through both direct and indirect channels, in accordance with the Company sales and marketing strategy to meet turnover targets in accordance with the Company discount structure. To develop, build and maintain relationships that will develop sales of the Company’s branded product range in line with forecast and ensure that the company becomes the customer’s preferred supplier
Education/Qualification Standard,
Required:

• A-level (or equivalent) in a relevant subject
• D/O qualifications or optical experience

Desirable:

• Degree (or equivalent) preferably in business studies or a technical subject
• Professional sales/marketing qualification (CIM Advanced Certificate or equivalent)

Knowledge/ Experience Required For Role:

• Working on own initiative to tight deadlines
• Ability to communicate at all levels both verbally and in writing
• Ability to effectively analyse and interpret data
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Selling and negotiating techniques
• Computer literate
