SENCO / Teacher - Hampshire
Salary up to £35,000 p.a. (Term time only)

Flame Care are currently looking to recruit a SENCO / Teacher for a leading Education & Care organisation who deliver services with positive outcomes for children and young people aged 5 to 25 who have experienced difficulties in their previous education placements. You will have a heavy emphasis on SENCo duties representing two schools, you will also have approximately 25% teaching commitment.

The service includes a day school and six separate Ofsted registered children’s homes in rural and urban community locations. The school provides highly effective education, care, therapy, welfare and support for young people who may have experienced trauma, inconsistent and confusing care and emotional rejection.

Ideal candidate:

• National SENCco qualification (preferable, however we are able to accept candidates who are willing to undertake and pass this course.)
• Qualified Teacher
• Self Motivated
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience within a SEN setting (working with either BESD or LD)
• Drive and commitment to support young people to achieve
• Driving License with own transport is essential
