Lab Technician

As a lab technician youíll play a key role in satisfying our customers. Often working to tight deadlines, youíll ensure they leave your store with high quality glasses when they expected them. You will manage the daily workload in the lab and make sure that the high volume of glasses Specsavers produce are made to an extremely high standard and we ensure that you have all the relevant up to date equipment you need to make that happen.

Contact Lens Opticians

Contact Lens Opticians in our stores enjoy dealing with a wide variety of customers. Contact lenses are a hugely important part of our business, and we make sure that we are able to provide expert advice to our customers. Our clinical teams work together with the retail team to provide a seamless in store experience; this means thereís usually a real buzz around our stores, as everybodyís kept busy offering the best possible optical services at affordable prices.

Dispensing Opticians

We view the dispensing of our products as a critical part of the customer journey, the right advice given during the eye test is invalid without the correct product being recommended to the customer. Every dispensing area has a dispensing toolbox. This includes a pupillometer, varifocal measuring gauges, a full range of lens samples, and a variety of other equipment. It all helps to ensure that customers get the best service and rarely have to wait to be seen.

If youíre a hearing aid dispenser registered with the Health Professions Council, youíll work with customers in one of our 450 stores, carrying out audiometric assessments. Using your professional expertise, youíll also dispense the most appropriate aids from our extensive catalogue of the latest digital hearing aids. We believe in giving our customers the best products and exceptional service, as one of our hearing aid dispensers, youíll help to deliver possibly the best aftercare programme on the high street.
