Recruits - those from the UK
Oasis can provide opportunities for all the dental team. If you are considering dental school, still training, entering your first postgraduate position, or are already an experienced professional: Oasis can provide you with an exciting opportunity for progression. We have a unique local structure, offer flexible, attractive career packages, and will support you throughout your time working for us.
Oasis practices are grouped into 'clusters'. The local network of practices work together, supporting each other - both clinically and commercially. Oasis clinicians are of varying age, experience and skill level.
At Oasis you will find your practice has a fairly typical structure. Most practices have a lead dentist, who takes responsibility for daily clinical operations, supported by the practice manager, who takes responsibility for daily business operations. Clinicians and support staff who join Oasis will have the opportunity to progress their career significantly, if they are motivated and successfully fulfil their role. For example, if you are a dentist there are opportunities for clinical management positions (such as regional dental director and cluster clinical director). If you are a receptionist or dental nurse there are opportunities for commercial management positions (such as practice manager, practice manager or business development manager).
As a new recruit, you will be required to complete an interview. Once you join Oasis you will benefit from a structured induction programme, and training that is tailored to your needs.
Recruits - those from overseas
Oasis Dental Care welcomes dentists and dental support members from outside of the UK. For those dentists who have not qualified in the UK, you must have all of the following:
All overseas recruits benefit from a tailored induction and training process called Fitness to Practise. This programme is designed in-house, to meet your needs, and help ensure you are comfortable with the crucial aspects of dentistry in the UK. You will be expected to complete this programme with the support of an experienced dentist, who will be your 'mentor'. Your mentor will be happy to advise you in all aspects of the UK dental industry, including the latest techniques and requirements.
Oasis can also assist you in relocating to the UK and your integration into the local community where you work. Oasis can help you to establish a bank account, organise accommodation for you (and your family) and give you information about the local amenities (including schools, shops and restaurants).
