CLEARVIEW Training has an established series of CET events, both public and corporate. We listen carefully to our clients and with their input, we have developed a series of presentations based around what practitioners feel they need to sustain their skills in a dynamic optical marketplace. With this approach we are able to ensure that delegates get high quality relevant training whilst also obtaining maximum CET points from each event.
Our CET events consist of two streams. Delegates may move between these streams according to availability. Presentations in the main Clinical Stream support the main conference theme and consist largely of lecture presentations.
The second stream is our unique Practice Development Stream. Presentations in this stream will include both workshop and lecture presentations, which support new technologies, new equipment, techniques and treatments. Included within this stream are our Practice Basics presentations, returning to core optics and optometry such as slit lamp skills, basic dispensing, dynamic retinoscopy and motility skills. The aim here is to give practitioners an opportunity to revisit a skill that has not been used for some time. Our conference agendas will therefore cover core CET as well as the more detailed, continued professional development (CPD) level.
By structuring programmes relevant to the demands of the current marketplace, our delegates achieve realistic learning objectives appropriate for the demands of their working environment whether they are based within the Hospital Eye Service or within General Ophthalmic Service.
All training is given by leading speakers. The most appropriate training method relevant to the subject matter will be used whenever possible. This includes lecture-based presentations, clinical skills workshops and open forum debate.
Reference is made to current research and development within the profession and allied health professions. In addition, we deliver training on new technologies, new equipment, techniques and treatments.
David Gilbert , Training & Development Manager for Flame Health Ltd. is a regular speaker at many of our courses. His lecture and workshop presentations focus on the current employment marketplace, recruitment and retention, interview techniques and employers expectations. We are delighted to continue our relationship with David and Flame Health in what has become a valuable contribution to our conference agenda.
" The decision to select CLEARVIEW Training to sponsor was an easy one as we have had nothing but positive feedback from professionals about the quality of training delivery from CLEARVIEW "
