Ensure your path to successful qualification is trouble free. Be guided through the lead up to your Final Assessment by our experienced College Examiners on our Final Assessment Course.
Held over a weekend at the Burleigh Court International Conference Centre, Loughborough, just one mile from junction 23 of the M1, this lecture based course covers each of the subjects of the Final Assessment as an interactive lecture presentation.
There are also breakout sessions in small groups to discuss pre-prepared clinical records guiding you through the clinical decision making (CDM) exam.

This one-day course consists of a series of interactive session presentations covering the core subjects of the clinical decision making (CDM) exam.
There are also breakout sessions in small groups to discuss pre-prepared clinical records.
The City University's Core Competency Course
A weekend course, Central London

Get ahead early by enrolling on our Core Competency Course. Held over a weekend at the City University's Fight for Sight Optometry Clinic in London, this lecture-based course hosted by CLEARVIEW Training, is held early in the pre-registration year in time to prepare for the Quarterly Assessments.
The City University's Mock Exam Course
A weekend course, Central London

Held over a weekend at the City University's Fight for Sight Optometry Clinic in London, this practical based course, hosted by CLEARVIEW Training, is held towards the end of the pre- registration year in time to prepare for the Final Assessment.
The Saturday's mock exam day will put all delegates through each of the practical exams that make up the Final Assessment: each exam is held in real time and by current College Examiners - it doesn't get any closer to the real thing than this!
The Sunday tutorials include a series of rotations addressing the clinical decision making exam, slit lamp techniques and binocular vision assessment.

Our intensive course for non EEA qualified Optometrists focuses directly on the College of Optometrist’s exam syllabus.
Held over four days at the City University’s Fight for Sight Optometry Clinic in London, our course will give delegates an opportunity to experience a selection of the College’s practical exams held in real-time and under exam conditions.
All course tutors are current College of Optometrists Examiners and delegates are provided with immediate feedback with individual onward learning objectives – it doesn’t get any closer to the real thing than this!
Additional lectures and interactive seminars place emphasis on exam format, exam techniques and pass/fail criteria and will provide delegates with the knowledge and understanding of UK based optometric practice.
