Roles & Responsibilities

Our client is seeking an exceptional candidate to provide clinical leadership to develop the new Rehabilitation Service in Birmingham. The Rehabilitation Lead Nurse will play a fundamental role in setting up an effective staffing plan for the rehabilitation facility to ensure safe, high-quality and efficient provision of nursing care and contributing to effective budgetary management. The incumbent will also work closely with Operational, Therapist and Clinical Leads to build and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders and contribute to identify, plan and implement service development opportunities in order to improve the activity and financial viability of our client.

Person Specification:
You should be a Registered Nurse Level 1 with post registration experience in rehabilitation nursing, with a true desire to work in this field, and substantial experience working in a Lead Nurse/ Unit Lead role. You will be highly motivated and have excellent interpersonal, communication, leadership and team-building skills. Highly organised and driven, you will be commercially astute and demonstrable experience in planning, auditing, budget management and providing a high standard of clinical care for patients.
