Flame Health Pharmacy - Pharmacy Manager Job - Spalding:
Are you a Pharmacy Manager looking for a new challenge? Can you demonstrate an excellent understanding of all the elements required to run a Pharmacy whilst maintaining excellent customer satisfaction? We are currently recruiting for a Pharmacy Manager within our clients Spalding store. Job Purpose: To manage the In-store Pharmacy providing dispensing service to customers and optimising the availability and display of specified pharmacy and Health & Beauty line according to the Company policy / procedures, protocol and quality standards Accountabilities:
- Manage and provide a professional NHS and Private dispensing service for customers, checks medicines and initials dispensing labels, offer appropriate advice and guidance to meet customer needs.
- Order pharmacy products and Health & Beauty products using the Company ordering systems to ensure that customer demand can be met.
- Maintain strict controls of wastage through the correct handling/dispensing and storage of goods minimising wastage and reductions.
- Manage human resources to achieve departmental targets in the most effective manner and to ensure a high level of customer service.
- Implement layouts directed by Head Office adjusting display on an ongoing basis to reflect demand, promotional activity and stock availability to maximise sales, and optimise the Department’s
- Check all ticketing and advertising to ensure compliance with Company policy and legal requirements.
- Ensure a high standard of product knowledge through on the job training and familiarisation with the protocol.
- Ensure all staff are aware of and understand the Company policies / procedures / protocol and standards expected when providing customer service.
- Train and develop the abilities of subordinates ensuring that they are equipped to perform current duties effectively and in accordance with Company procedures.
- Encourage those reporting to him/her to work in a sale manner to meet statutory requirements and the Company’s Health & Safety procedures and ensure they adhere to all other requirements of the Contract of Employment.
