Flame Health Pharmacy - Pharmacy Manager Job - Ashton Moss:

Are you a Pharmacy Manager looking for a new challenge? Can you demonstrate an excellent understanding of all the elements required to run a Pharmacy whilst maintaining excellent customer satisfaction? We are currently recruiting for a Pharmacy Manager within our clients Ashton Moss store.

Job Purpose:   To manage the In-store Pharmacy providing dispensing service to customers and optimising the availability and display of specified pharmacy and Health & Beauty line according to the Company policy / procedures, protocol and quality standards Accountabilities:  

1. Manage and provide a professional NHS and Private dispensing service for customers, checks medicines and initials dispensing labels, offer appropriate advice and guidance to meet customer needs.  

2. Order pharmacy products and Health & Beauty products using the Company ordering systems to ensure that customer demand can be met.  

3. Maintain strict controls of wastage through the correct handling/dispensing and storage of goods minimising wastage and reductions.  

4. Manage human resources to achieve departmental targets in the most effective manner and to ensure a high level of customer service.  

5. Implement layouts directed by Head Office adjusting display on an ongoing basis to reflect demand, promotional activity and stock availability to maximise sales, and optimise the Department’s presentation and Dispensing service.  

6. Check all ticketing and advertising to ensure compliance with Company policy and legal requirements.  

7. Ensure a high standard of product knowledge through on the job training and familiarisation with the protocol.  

8. Ensure all staff are aware of and understand the Company policies / procedures / protocol and standards expected when providing customer service. 

9. Train and develop the abilities of subordinates ensuring that they are equipped to perform current duties effectively and in accordance with Company procedures.  

10. Encourage those reporting to him/her to work in a sale manner to meet statutory requirements and the Company’s Health & Safety procedures and ensure they adhere to all other requirements of the Contract of Employment.
