£39,000-£44,000 pro rata

We are currently working with a international retail chain who are developing their pharmacy operation within the UK and are currently looking to talk to pharmacy managers who are looking for a challenge and responsibility.

As the pharmacy manager you will be encouraged to run the pharmacy as if it were your own. You will be responsible for ensuring you are, as a team, proactively striving to achieve the pharmacy targets and also working closely with store managers to ensure the success of the store as a whole. The company is a dynamic international chain of retail operations with long standing investment in growth and development which you will benefit from on a ongoing basis. There are management training schemes which are available in addition to career paths which can lead down the clinical and commercial route. You will be actively driving all the services that are on offer to patients which include: MURs, weight management programmes, healthy heart checks, flu jabs and mole clinics. You will also be providing clear direction to support staff and giving open and honest feedback whilst having regular communication with the GPM and the store manager. A vital part of the role on a day to day basis will be to inspire, challenge and stretch individual performance by coaching all pharmacy support teams to reach their full potential. You will also identify future capability by arranging training programmes to help them achieve their potential. In addition to this you will also have the opportunity to become a pre-registration supervisor or mentor for newly qualified pharmacists.

The ideal candidate will have relevant pharmacy manager experience and will be a confident and capable leader who is happy to coach and mentor colleagues. You will have had significant exposure to:

• Driving improvements in pharmacy standards.
• Delivering results through others by active coaching and performance improvement.
• Building and delivering robust operational business plans.
