Flame Health Optometry - Optometrist Job - Dorset - South-West:

This is a fantastic opportunity for an optometrist to join one of the largest and longest established national providers of Domiciliary eye testing services, bringing urgently needed optometric services to those individuals who are unable to attend the High Street practitioners.

The company is continuing to expand at a steady rate and they pride themselves on their quality, professionalism and support mechanisms. Clinical governance is high on their agenda with regular audits and quality checks in place to ensure patients always receive honest and appropriate advice.

The company is also part of the Professional Standards Committee and is supported by the College of Optometrists.

The role (Full or Part-Time considered) will be based in the South West; areas covered will be Dorset, Devon, and Cornwall.

This will appeal to those who enjoy variety as you will be working in several locations throughout your working week. Full support will be given, this includes a trained support team working with you, state of the art equipment specifically designed for home visits ensuring easy and efficient use, a fully serviced company vehicle with satellite navigation system making journey planning simple and time efficient.

Systematic visits will be planned for you by Head Office giving you plenty of notice as to where your next destination will be. There are various attributes required to be successful in this role, however work background is not a pre-requisite.

What is required is self-motivation, good organisational skills, patience and a commitment to providing excellent standards of patient care. You will be able to demonstrate empathy through your chair side manor through your ability to clearly understand the patient’s requirements.

In return for your skills you will receive an excellent salary, fully serviced vehicle with satellite navigation or car allowance (£400 per month), 25 days holiday, no weekends, state of the art equipment and continuous training and development.
