This well appointed practice in Devon is seeking an ambitious and self-motivated Optometrist to join them for an exciting resident role.

The practice is part of one of the leading optical groups, which has a proven track record in developing and providing excellent career paths for individuals through their recognised training and development channels. The practice is complemented by a wonderfully supportive team, which includes a large team of resident Optometrists, as well as the support staff. The team will assist you in your optometric duties; they will complete the field screening and pressures of each patient for you. Within your consulting room you will discover the state of the art equipment and an air-conditioned environment ensuring that you are as comfortable as possible.

As an Optometrist you will be responsible for thorough eye examinations, contact lens assessments, aftercares and assisting colleagues when necessary to ensure the practice operates smoothly. The ideal testing time will be 20 minutes, however consideration will be given to those more recently qualified. A good balance of commercial and clinical understanding is needed, as is the demonstration of excellent communication skills.

Our client is happy to provide Tier 2 sponsorship for overseas candidates, and are even willing to look at funding conversion courses for Optometrists qualified outside of the UK. For those thinking of relocating, accommodation can be provided or financial assitance toward moving house can be provided. A very competitive salary package.
