Flame Health Optometry - Optical Advisor Job - Bedfordshire:

An opportunity has arisen in Bedfordshire for an Optical Advisor or Dispensing Optician to join one of the UK’s leading providers of domiciliary eye care, due to expansion.

Working alongside an Optometrist they will attend pre–booked appointments in nursing homes and sheltered housing as well as visiting people in their homes. They must have a flexible approach to their work and possess a genuine interest in this area of Optics, although specific domiciliary experience is not essential.

The successful candidates will be working around the Bedfordshire area. The role will involve dispensing according to the patients prescription and assist them in choosing their frames as well as carrying out frame adjustments and repairs. The ideal candidates will have experience of working in optical advisor or dispensing optician roles and good customer service skills are essential
