Flame Health Optometry are currently working alongside a leading retail business to recruit a Dispensing Optician with in the Derby area.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a dispensing optician to work in the optical department in the Derby area. This large retail group has seen extensive expansion over the last 4 years within its optical division. This growth is attributed to their commitment in providing quality, patient focussed eye-care alongside increasingly diverse product choice, which appeals to a wide cross section of the public. The company ensures the highest level of customer service and continued professional development through both internal and external training and by ensuring each member of staff has access to a professional support network, that ensure “Best Practice” within Optics in accordance to the GOC and college guidelines. You will be responsible for performing all dispensing and associated retail duties, working closely with the optometrist to ensure the highest standard of patient care.

The company will consider all levels of experience, although FBDO status is essential. Your expertise and flexible working approach will be rewarded with a highly competitive salary package, including company pension and store discounts.
