Do you have a flair for fashion and experience in export sales? We are representing a Market leading company that has a turnover in excess of £85 million per annum. In line with expansion they now require an International Sales Manager.
The company has a number one position within the industry and this is a result of the design, quality and customer service. Distributing to department stores, opticians and airports both nationally and internationally the company is now increasing it’s product portfolio to enable it to grow it’s business from it’s core products.
Salary
Salary will be dependent on experience but is expected to be in the circa of £40,000 - £50,000

Work Place and Travel
The successful candidate will ideally be based at their offices where there is free car parking on site. Consideration would be given to an exceptional candidate with a proven international track record based in Mainland Europe. There will be international travel to the various distributors and customers.
Overview
The ideal candidate will be an experienced person with a commercial export sales background enabling them to manage their export sales into Department Stores, Tax Free and Opticians. The Export Department was set up in February 2005 and over the past 3 years has become one of the fastest growing areas of the business with distribution currently reaching over 30 territories. It would be ideal if the candidate has a background in fashion branded Eyewear, however experience in selling branded fashion products in a related product area would be considered.
The candidate must understand brands and fashion and have the experience to negotiate complex service arrangements and deals, as well as having had experience sourcing, setting up agreements and managing distributors internationally.
The successful candidate will report to the International Sales Manager who will work with him / her to formulate long-term strategy and targets. He or she will work closely with all departments to ensure the smooth running of the international business.
Empathy with the product is essential as is an understanding and flair for fashion. “Team fit” is absolutely vital as the company takes its external image very seriously as well as its internal harmony. The candidate will be involved in selling Sunglasses and Optical Frames to customers outside of the U.K. (excluding the Republic of Ireland) including Department Stores, Chain Stores, independents, Tax Free and Opticians. The candidate must be dynamic, have relevant experience and be motivated to increase sales and profitability.

iv) Manager · Ability to manage Sales Coordinator · Ability to source, follow up leads and manage international distributors · Reporting to the business manager on results and forecast
