  • Location: Midlands, Northern England.
  • The successful candidate will also be expected to travel to Wales, Scotland, Ireland and other areas of England.
  • This is a full-time contract position

The Flame Health Healthcare Sales division are looking to recruit a Product Consultant to join our clients UK team with the North West of the UK.

In the role of Product Consultant you will become a leading advocate for their brand, delivering the highest level of product and selling skills training to optical stores, and driving volume and share growth for our product. To be successful you must possess the ability to deliver their message in a dynamic and inspirational manner in both formal and informal situations.

As part of the role you will also be responsible for building and leveraging relationships with their trade partners, retail outlets, and eye care professionals while maintaining a timely and accurate assessment of marketplace opportunities and activities. The role would suit an individual who is outgoing, enjoys building relationships and is consistently seeking new challenges. Working Environment: 80% in-field; 20% home office

Key Responsibilities

Training and Education:

  • Provide frequent in-office training and education to eye care professionals and speak at other functions on an as-needed basis
  • Train and mentor their partners to equip them with the necessary tools to educate their customers about our brand
  • Convince, equip and motivate eye care professionals to recommend our clients leading product to all their patients

Market Area Responsibilities:

  • Develop a network of strong relationships across entire decision making functions including:Sales force  In-store Training Marketing and Communications
  • Provide outstanding territory management skills to maximize customer contact
  • Maintain customer relationship management (CRM) database to manage customer contact and sales data
  • Drive marketing initiatives and promotions through meetings, materials, and marketing tools and resources
  • Build alliances with partners that protect and advance common interests

Candidate Requirements

  • Candidate must be a highly driven individual with the professionalism, confidence and capacity to establish relationships, develop sales and motivate our partners
  • Must already be qualified to work in the UK
  • Must have a valid drivers license
  • Sales experience required
  • Basic computer skills a must (word, excel, outlook etc.)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional time management and territory management skills
  • Must demonstrate a high level of customer service by responding to requests and issues
  • Strong understanding of the consultative sales process
  • Show respect, initiative, enthusiasm, and flexibility Normal working hours will be Monday through Friday and will include occasional overnight and weekend travel to effectively cover territory and attend company functions and trade events.
