An excellent opportunity has arisen within dentistry for an experienced Dental Nurse to enhance their skills and develop their career working in a superbly equipped, modernised NHS/Private practice in Woking, Surrey.

At the Woking practice the team endeavour to provide high quality dental care and first class service in their state-of-the-art practice, supported by an efficient, highly focused and friendly dental team. Treatments available at this practice include: all routine dental treatments, hygienist services for preventative treatment, tooth whitening & aesthetic dentistry, invisalign, dental implants, Crowns & Bridges, lumineers (contact lens veneers), treatment of gum conditions with a specialist Periodontist and access to all specialist dentists and treatments.

The ideal candidate will have a welcoming and reassuring manner in order to work with patients of all ages, nationalities and dispositions. They will be calm, friendly and efficient as well as flexible and able to adapt to different patient needs. Candidates will be qualified holding the National Certificate or NVQ Level 3 in Dental Nursing or have at least 4 years experience as a Dental Nurse and be registered with the GDC. Preferably they will be IT literate using dental charting software such as Exact SOE and Microsoft Office but full training can be given.

They will be energetic and positive in their approach to their work and display exceptional communication skills when dealing with patients ensuring they are cared for to a very high standard at all times. The practice prides itself on individual care and attention to detail therefore it is paramount the candidate has the same ethos. Able to work on their own initiative they will be self motivated as well as able to work well as a team.

Helping to ensure the patient is well cared for at all times, they will provide chair-side assistance for the dentist in all dental procedures, preparing the surgery, cross infection control, sterilisation of instruments and preparation of materials. Some reception work may also be required, responsibilities of which will include, meeting and greeting patients, answering telephone calls, booking appointments and handling cash.

Salary is dependent on qualifications and experience.
