Flame Health Dentistry - Dental Nurse Job - Pontefract

Are you a motivated, qualified/experienced Dental Nurse looking for a new opportunity in the West Yorkshire area? If so this fully private, independent, dental practice based in Pontefract would like to hear from you.

This well established, specialist cosmetic & implant, 3 surgery practice has recently been refurbished providing a pleasant environment for both patients and staff. The practice is also fully computerised throughout using Exact SOE and well equipped with all the latest technology.

There are currently 8 staff at this practice including the principal dentist, 2 p/t dentists, a hygienist, therapist, 2 nurses, receptionist and Practice Manager. This friendly team work together to offer a broad spectrum of dental treatments to patients of all ages including specialist, complex procedures such as dental implants. Helping to ensure the patient is well cared for at all times, you will provide chair-side assistance for the dentist in all dental procedures, preparing the surgery, cross infection control, sterilisation of instruments and preparation of materials. Some reception work may occasionally be required, responsibilities of which will include, meeting and greeting patients, answering telephone calls, booking appointments and handling cash.

The ideal candidate will have a welcoming and reassuring manner. Ideally you will be qualified holding the National Certificate for Dental Nurses or NVQ Level 3, have at least 1 years experience as a Dental Nurse in a private practice some experience with implants is preferable, and be IT literate using dental charting software such as Exact SOE and Microsoft Office.

You will have a mature and thorough approach to your role with the passion to progress within your chosen field. You will be energetic and positive in your approach to your work and display exceptional communication skills when dealing with patients ensuring they are cared for to a very high standard at all times.

Working hours Monday - Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm Holidays: 20 days + Bank Holidays
