Flame Health Dentistry - Dental Practice Manager Job - Clapham:

Are you a motivated, experienced Practice Manager looking for a new challenge? How would you like to work well established, predominantly private practice offering state of the art surgeries and specialist dentistry? This practice based in Clapham is looking for a new Practice Manager to work within a highly experienced and professional team offering high quality treatments. In addition to basic dentistry, the practice also offers specialist dental implant treatment, complex full mouth rehabilitations, oral surgery, Endodontics, Orthodontics, Periodontics and sedation. As practice manager for this large 6 surgery specialist practice you will be given all the support you need as part of an Investors in People practice. Your working hours will be 38 hours per week Monday to Friday with 20 days holiday + Bank holidays. The team at this practice currently consists of 4 specialists, 3 general dentists, 4 hygienists, 4 dental nurses and 3 receptionists who are all qualified, trained and experienced in providing a high standard of patient care. Within this position you will be responsible for managing all staff including being responsible for their motivation, objective setting and appraisals. Driving the practice forward you will be responsible for leadership at a practice level and for the management of people performance and development. This will involve recruitment, coaching and developing staff, implementing agreed review procedures and appropriate training plans. The ideal candidate will be driven, results focused and have a positive outlook, they will be a natural forward thinker/planner who critically assesses their own performance. Mature, credible and capable of communicating at all levels, commanding respect from their staff. They must have significant proven experience of people management within a dental practice. With excellent communication and relationship building skills you will be business oriented and customer focused with the ability to multi task and manage practice profit and loss.
