Are you an experienced or newly qualified Hygienist looking for a new opportunity in the Nottinghamshire area ? If so this well established predominantly private Dental practice based in Long Eaton, Nottingham would like to hear from you.

This position is for one day per week and the practice can accommodate any day to suit the successful applicant. The practice has a friendly team of 3 dentists, 3 nurses and a practice manager with a special interest in assisting patients with the management of their anxiety. Patients are offered comfortable, safe sedation techniques under the care of dedicated and caring team members. A full range of aesthetic dental treatment is available, including cosmetic, veneers, crowns and bridges.

The practice has been established for 20 years and has continually grown in size and in the range of care and advice available to patients. Each member of the dental team is committed to continuing professional development and staff members are encouraged to continually enhance and expand their skills.

The Role:

As Hygienist for this practice the candidate will be seeing private patients, Denplan patients and NHS upgrades. The practice is very busy and currently books weeks in advance. They will have their own surgery equipped with all the latest equipment needed to provide a high standard of patient care. Working hours are Monday to Friday 9.00am – 5.30pm. Within this position the successful candidate will be required to provide specific oral hygiene advice through the development of home care plans for individual patients. Give specific advice including advice on the use of fluoride agents, the benefits of smoking cessation and potential change within the mouth relating to medical history and treatments. Demonstrate, teach and monitor comprehensive oral hygiene/plaque control measures to enable patients to take an active and crucial role in treatment and perform scaling and polishing of teeth.
