Flame Health Dentistry - Hygienist Job - Hertfordshire:

This modern, 10 surgery, well respected Dental Practice boasts fully equipped premises with all the latest technology and a qualified, experienced team of staff. The practice is currently looking for a new Hygienist/Therapist and is happy to consider both experienced and newly qualified candidates.

The practice is family orientated offering routine and cosmetic treatments with in-house referral facilities for orthodontic, oral surgery and implants. This well-established, mixed private and NHS dental practice is located in Bishops Stortford, Hertfordshire and is 5 minutes walk from the Railway Station.

There is currently 2-3 days available and the hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.00am – 5.00pm. You will be working with a full patient book to 30 - 45 minute appointments in your own modern, well equipped surgery.

The team at this practice currently consists of 10 dentists, 10 Dental Nurses 4 Hygienists and receptionists and a practice manager. Each team member is dedicated to their work and the practice pride them selves on delivering a very high standard of patient care.

This position would suit either an experienced or recently qualified Hygienist / Therapist who is motivated and dedicated to providing a high standard of patient care. As the successful Hygienist at this practice you will be required to deliver a variety of procedures, ensuring patients are comfortable and satisfied with their treatment at all times.

You will have excellent communication skills and a calm and collected manner with the ability to put patients at ease before treatment begins, making sure the patient is well aware of the treatment being carried out and why. You will also be required to check dental notes thoroughly along with medical history and x-rays, providing routine scale and polish and educating patient in oral health in order to maintain good oral hygiene by using oral hygiene aids such as I.D brushes and floss along with regular tooth brushing. It is also highly important that you have the ability to accurately record patient notes after treatment including treatment carried out and any problems encountered.

This position is based on either a self employed or employed basis to suit. Immediate start available.
