Are you an experienced, qualified dental nurse looking for a new challenge in the East Sussex area?

This mixed NHS / Private practice in Uckfield, East Sussex is located over 2 floors with 3 dental surgeries and 2 hygienist surgeries downstairs and 4 dental surgeries above, it has recently had a refurbishment and is fully modernised and very well equipped throughout. The practice is situated just out of the high street, close to all local amenities. There is car parking available at the practice and the bus/train station is under 10 minute walk away from practice. There is currently a motivated team of 7 dental nurses, 7 dentists, 2 hygienists and 4 receptionists who work in harmony to deliver the highest standard.

This position is available immediately again dependent on notice periods. Hours of work are 34 hours per week over 4 days, this would involve nursing for 2 days and covering on reception for 2 days so is quite a varied role. In order to be considered for this position you will be an experienced or qualified Dental Nurse holding the National Certificate or NVQ Level 3 in Dental Nursing and have at least 1 year experience in dentistry. GDC registration is also required or proof of confirmation ready for the end of July is needed. Preferably you will be IT literate using dental charting software such as Exact SOE and Microsoft Office but full training can be given.

Exceptional communication skills when dealing with patients is required ensuring they are cared for to a very high standard at all times. The practice prides itself on individual care and attention to detail therefore it is paramount the candidate has the same ethos. Able to work on your own initiative you will be responsible for meeting and greeting patients, answering telephone calls, booking appointments and handling cash.
