Job Description :

Flame Health Dentistry - Dental Nurse Job - Lydney, Gloucestershire:

We are currently recruiting for five full time Dental Nurses in this Gloucestershire town. This is a fantastic opportunity as this practice is brand new, due to open in early September, with five surgeries, all of which are fully equipped with all the latest in dental technology with up to date and modernised surroundings.

They will have a mature and thorough approach to their role with the passion to progress within their field. They will be energetic and positive in their approach to their work and display exceptional communication skills when dealing with patients, ensuring they are cared for to a very high standard at all times.

The practice prides itself on individual care and attention to detail, therefore it is paramount the candidate has the same ethos. Able to work on their own initiative they will be self motivated as well as able to work well as a team. Assisting the Dentist chair-side, you will provide a high standard of dental care at all times, mixing and preparing materials, sterilising instruments, ensuring a high level of cross infection control and ensuring the surgery is kept clean and tidy at all times.

You will meet and greet patients, put nervous patients at ease and ensure they are comfortable both in and out of the surgery. Some reception cover may be needed which will require you to meet and greet patients, answer telephone calls, book appointments and handle cash. Ideally you will be a qualified dental nurse holding the National Certificate for Dental Nurses or the NVQ Level 3 and be GDC registered with at least 1 years nursing experience. The roles will come with yearly pay reviews based on your performance which will fall around the month of April. Holiday entitlement will be 4 weeks per year plus Bank Holidays, this will increase by 1 day for each year of service you give to the practice until it reaches a total of 5 weeks. Further training and progression can also be offered to Dental Nurses looking to further themselves within the dental field.

If you are interested in applying for this position and to obtain full package details, please apply in confidence to the respective consultant.
