Flame Health Dentistry - Dental Nurse Job - Inverness:

An excellent opportunity has arisen within dentistry for an experienced Dental Nurse to enhance their skills and develop their career working in a superbly equipped, exclusively private 4 surgery practice in Inverness.

The practice is designed to create a relaxed and reassuring environment that looks fresh and contemporary. You will be joining a fully qualified and experienced dental team, which are there to offer support and advice in a friendly and relaxed working environment.

Further training and progression is also offered to practice staff, in helping to excel your career within the dental field.

The ideal candidate will have a welcoming and reassuring manner in order to work with patients of all ages, nationalities and dispositions. They will be calm, friendly and efficient as well as flexible and able to adapt to different patient needs. Ideally the candidate will be qualified holding the National Certificate or NVQ Level 3 in Dental Nursing and have at least 1 year’s experience as a Dental Nurse. Preferably they will be IT literate using dental charting software such as Exact SOE and Microsoft Office but full training can be given. They will have a mature and thorough approach to their role with the passion to progress within their field. They will be energetic and positive in their approach to their work and display exceptional communication skills when dealing with patients ensuring they are cared for to a very high standard at all times.

The practice prides itself on individual care and attention to detail therefore it is paramount the candidate has the same ethos. Able to work on their own initiative they will be self motivated as well as able to work well as a team. Helping to ensure the patient is well cared for at all times, you will provide chair-side assistance for the dentist in all dental procedures, preparing the surgery, cross infection control, sterilisation of instruments and preparation of materials. Some reception work may also be required, responsibilities of which will include, meeting and greeting patients, answering telephone calls, booking appointments and handling cash.

Salary is dependent on qualifications and experience. £14,000 - £18,000 per annum
