Flame Health Dentistry - Dental Nurse Job - Essex:
This well-established, exclusively private, independent dental practice located in Essex is currently looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated Dental Nurse to join it’s friendly team.
The Practice offers state of the art technology and the very latest equipment to ensure consistency in the quality of care delivered. Treatments delivered at this practice include gum health treatment and instruction, OZone, Cerec, and whitening. Within this position you will be working 8.15am - 5.45pm Monday - Friday.
Each team member at this practice is dedicated to their work and the practice receptionist recently won ’Receptionist of the year’ award at the Probe awards in 2007. This position would suit either an experienced or recently qualified Dental Nurse who is motivated and dedicated to providing a high standard of patient care.
The ideal candidate will have a welcoming and reassuring manner in order to work with patients of all ages, nationalities and dispositions. They will be calm, friendly and efficient as well as flexible and able to adapt to different patient needs.
Ideally the candidate will be qualified holding the National Certificate or NVQ Level 3 in Dental Nursing or have at least 1 years experience as a Dental Nurse. Preferably they will be IT literate using dental charting software such as Exact SOE or Kodak R4 but full training can be given. They will have a mature and thorough approach to their role with the passion to progress within their field. They will be energetic and positive in their approach to their work and display exceptional communication skills when dealing with patients, ensuring they are cared for to a very high standard at all times.
The practice prides itself on individual care and attention to detail, therefore it is paramount the candidate has the same ethos. Able to work on their own initiative they will be self motivated as well as able to work well as a team. Helping to ensure the patient is well cared for at all times, you will supervise all other dental nurses as well as providing chair-side assistance for the specialist dentists, preparing the surgery, cross infection control, sterilisation of instruments and preparation of materials.
Some administration work will also be required in order to create individual treatment plans for patients and you may also be required to occasionally answer telephone calls, booking appointments and handle cash.
An excellent salary is offered for this position, dependent on individual qualifications and experience.
