Flame Health Dentistry - Dental Nurse Job - Canton, South Glamorgan

An excellent opportunity has arisen within dentistry for a Full-Time Maternity Cover Dental Nurse to enhance their skills and develop their career working in a well equipped, modern dental practice in Canton, South Glamorgan.

This practice has developed a strong patient-focused approach that is dedicated to achieving and maintaining healthy mouth, gums & teeth. All the staff are committed to continuing professional development and strive to provide high quality dentistry in a friendly environment, where new and existing customers are always welcome, aiming to make visits to the practice a relaxed and anxiety-free experience.

Treatments include: all routine dental treatments, hygienist services for preventative treatments, tooth whitening & aesthetic dentistry, dental implants, crowns & bridges and access to specialist dentists and treatments.

The Person:

Candidates will be qualified holding the National Certificate or NVQ Level 3 in Dental Nursing and have at least 1 years experience as a Dental Nurse with GDC registration and possess the ability to work on their own initiative, they will be self motivated as well as able to work well as part of a team.

The Role:

Helping to ensure the patient is well cared for at all times, the candidate will provide chair-side assistance for the dentist in all dental procedures, preparing the surgery, cross infection control, sterilisation of instruments and preparation of materials. Salary is dependent on qualifications and experience. 37.5 - 40 hours of work per week.
