Flame Health Dentistry - Dental Nurse Job - Banstead, Surrey

Are you an experienced, qualified dental nurse looking for a new challenge in Banstead, Surrey? This modern Dental Practice boasts fully equipped premises with all the latest technology and a qualified, experienced team. It is a private practice but does still offer NHS treatments to children and students. The practice team pride themselves on the quality of care provided by friendly knowledgeable staff in a relaxed atmosphere.

The Role:

Candidates will be responsible for meeting and greeting patients, answering telephone calls, booking appointments and handling cash. Helping to ensure the patient is well cared for at all times, they will provide chair-side assistance for the dentist in all dental procedures, preparing the surgery, cross infection control, sterilisation of instruments and preparation of materials. This position is available immediately. Hours of work are Wednesdays 8am - 5pm and Fridays 8am - 4.30pm with 1 hour for lunch. Uniform is provided.

The Person:

Ideally the candidate will be an experienced or qualified Dental Nurse holding the National Certificate or NVQ Level 3 in Dental Nursing and have at least 1 year experience in dentistry. They must also be GDC registered or have proof that registration will be complete by the end of July. Preferably they will be IT literate using dental charting software such as Exact SOE and Microsoft Office but full training can be given. They will have a thorough approach to their role with the passion to progress within their field. They will be enthusiastic and positive in their approach also whether working alone or as part of a team, displaying exceptional communication skills when dealing with patients in order to ensure that they are cared for to a very high standard at all times.
