Flame Health Medical Management Jobs - Dental Business Manager - Swindon Area - M4 Corridor - £35,000 - £40,000

Flame Health are currently recruiting a Business Manager to look after 6 mixed dental practices based on The M4 Corridor. The position will be to oversee and guide the complete teams within the practices, reporting back to the directors on a monthly basis and providing complete financial reporting.

Candidates will ideally have previous medical or retail management experience, with proven successful business development achievements from past roles. They must have a good vision of how to move a business forward and execute this successfully. This is a rare opportunity to join an up and coming company, as the role has capacity for growth and expansion along with sector high earnings.

Key Responsibilities:

General Management:
 Work with the Directors to implement and deliver the strategic plan for the development of the practices
 Prepare monthly reports on Key Performance Indicators, and present to the directors on a monthly basis. Implement actions to deliver against the agreed targets
 Set, monitor and review 90-day goals, including sales targets, for all staff to meet the annual goals/budget of the practice. Hold regular meetings to plan, implement and review performance against the agreed goals
 Organise and chair regular staff meetings at all levels
 Track the success of marketing activities, provide analysis and report to the Directors on a monthly basis
Sales and Client Management:
 Ensure that all patient communications and practice information are up-to-date and reflect the brand standards of the practice. Ensure adherence to the Practice’s Client Journey.
 Mobilise internal resources to maximise opportunities to gain new patients and to develop further value to existing patients
 Ensure the efficient operation of patient recall and reactivation systems
 Manage the practices complaints procedure and escalation of queries and issues.
Finance:
 Ensure daily cash collection & payment procedures are adhered to and manage supplier payments and wages.
 Provide weekly cashflow status reporting to the Directors
 Provide monthly financial reporting to the Directors
 Manage costs of each practice to budget
Administration Management:
 Ensure management of the IT and Technology for the practice.
 Ensure practice compliance with Health & Safety requirements and regulations & CQC procedures.
 Ensure that there is an efficient stock control and supply procedure
 Liaise with sales and suppliers representatives as necessary
 Ensure that practice equipment is serviced and maintained to the required frequency

Skills & Abilities:
 Ability to manage and motivate a team (including dentists and hygienists) and coordinate staff, both within and external to each practice.
 Can demonstrate sales ability and manage performance to sales targets
 Numerate and able to collate and analyse the key financial & sales information to assist in running the business effectively
 Excellent organisational skills
 Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
 Dedicated to providing a first-class customer service experience
 Good IT skills
 Ability to problem solve
 Strong initiative and a drive to succeed, with a flexible approach
 An ability to bring energy and enthusiasm to any situation and always act with honesty and integrity
 Prior experience of dentistry is NOT essential, candidates from other medical areas or Retail are invited to apply.
